Our Story...

Zoe and Rory met all the way back in 2010 when Zoe was surprised to find out she would be getting a new boss at work, Rory. After an inauspicious start to their relationship which involved Rory's offhand rejections of a furious Zoe's excessive pay demands, the pair did not seem destined to be together. However, a few months later (once Rory was no longer able to tell Zoe what to do) the pair began to develop a friendship. And it was friends they remained until October 2013 when Rory plucked up the courage to ask Zoe out for their first date. Enjoying a great dinner at the Connaught Hotel and finding a £50 note in the taxi on the way home, the omens looked good. By December 2015 their relationship had become 'serious', the couple had moved in together six months earlier and Zoe's family welcomed Rory over to Australia to spend Christmas with them. Everybody got on like a house on fire and by the following year the Tsiligiannis' were all in the UK celebrating Christmas with Rory's family. It was during that family trip that Rory surprised Zoe with their first visit back to the Connaught Hotel since their first date. Even more nervous than his last visit, he (finally) popped the question. Luckily for him, she said yes...
